CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The Hi-Liner wrestling team finished in the middle of a talented pack at their own holiday tournament this past Saturday.

Valley City finished fifth overall, scoring 126 points, 3.5 behind fourth-place Wahpeton.  Grand Forks Central won the tournament with 188 points, well ahead of Fargo North and Jamestown, each scoring 152 points.

Valley City produced two champions.  Shane Undem won his 145-pound class, and top-ranked Brandon Larson took the top spot at 195.

Zach Doty was runner-up at 160, and Stephan Radermacher was a runner-up at 182.  Mark Miller was third at 138, and Jake Ashline was fourth at 113.

The next action for the Hi-Liners will come after Christmas, as they participate in the Rumble on the Red at the FargoDome December 29-30.
