CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The South Border Mustangs captured the championship of the Linton Holiday Wrestling Tournament this past weekend.

The Mustangs scored 203 points, a slim one point ahead of the Oakes Tornadoes.  Napoleon was third with 154.5, and Carrington was fourth with 132.

South Border got it done the old-fashioned way, through the wrestleback rounds, as they had only one champion.  Blake Bosch won his 126-pound division.  Bosch’s only teammate to make finals was Brayden Kuntz at 138, who finished runner-up.

Oakes had three champions.  Erik Loepp won a title at 113, Caden Coleman was champion at 120, and Cody Voegeli won his 145-pound class.  Ben Ketterling was runner-up at 182.
