ND (NewsDakota.com)- Nothing seemed to go right for Coach Greg Ulland’s Jimmies last night in Minot. Everything was going right on the other side of the floor, the Beavers shot a sizzling 56% from the field racing to a 96-74 win.

Midway through the first-half the Jimmies took a 19-15 lead, but the Beavers responded with a 14-0 run and never trailed again.

Every time it looked like JC might get back into the game the Beavers responded with a few quick points. MSU extended their lead to 25 on two different occasions before ending the game with a 22-point advantage.

Four Minot St. women were in double-figures, led by Carly Boag’s game-high 22.

Bridget Shuneman lead the Jimmies with 14 points and eight rebounds. Ten of her points  came from the free throw line.

Jimmies will be back in action next Thursday in Iowa against Morningside and then Friday vs. Briar Cliff, two of the top teams in the NAIA Division II.

They will return home January 3rd to take on Dakota St. at the Civic Center.
