CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The Hi-Liner girls basketball team dropped a home Eastern Dakota Conference (EDC) game with Fargo Davies 48-41 last night.

The Hi-Liners fell to 2-2 in EDC play, 1-2 overall.  Their next matchup is a non-league game with Jamestown December 29th.

Valley City is the top seed in the upcoming Barnes County Girls Basketball Tournament, scheduled for January 10th, 13th, and 14th at the W. E. Osmon Fieldhouse in Valley City.  The Hi-Liners won the championship in their first year in the tournament last season.
