– The Barnes County North and LaMoure basketball teams split a pair of varsity games during a District 5 doubleheader in Wimbledon on Tuesday night.

Barnes County North earned a 25-point victory in the girls game, rolling to a 52-27 win with a big second half. Jenna Gullickson and Emily Albrecht each poured in 15 points for BCN, which outscored LaMoure 34-13 in the second half. Megan Good had nine points to lead LaMoure.

In the boys game, No. 4-ranked LaMoure picked up a 26-point victory, defeating the Bison 59-33. Skylar Shockman led the Loboes with 12 points. LaMoure broke the game open with a 23-9 run in the second quarter. Cody Christ led the Bison with 14 points in the loss.
