(NewsDakota.com)- After having their seven-game winning streak snapped the Jamestown boy’s basketball team will be back in action tonight in Mandan. The two teams met previously in Jamestown, with the Blue Jays topping the Braves 73-66.

Since beating Mandan, the Jays have lost only twice, both to Minot. Currently they are the No. 2 in the WDA standings. They had to chance to tie Bismarck High for the first spot on Saturday, but were unable to get by the Magicians.

The emergence of Nate Willer has been the key to the Blue Jays success thus far and he needs to continue to play at a high-level for the No. 3 team in the state to make a deep run.

The Braves have gone 6-4 since the first meeting, including a three-game holiday tournament in Minnesota where they went 2-1.

Jamestown will have to slow down Devin Coyle, the Braves leading scorer, who enters averaging over 18 points per game.

The game tips tonight at 7:30pm and can be heard on Classic Hits KQDJ-AM 1400.
