(NewsDakota.com) A LaMoure native has made it down a select group in a annual Red River Valley vocal showcase.

25 year old Amy Frauenberg, who currently lives in Moorhead, is one of around 80 singers who has made it with a chance to make it to the final round of the 2012 edition of “Fargo Star”, the F-M area’s version of American Idol.

Six singers have already reached the final round, and another four, including hopefully Frauenberg, need to be selected by Monday night. The final 10 will perform for the title at The Venue in Fargo on Saturday February 25.
