CITY (NewsDakota.com) Valley City residents are reminded to move all vehicles of city Emergency Removal Routes as soon as possible on Tuesday.

City Administrator David Schelkoph says the city streets are 9th avenue northwest, 12th street northwest, 5th avenue northeast and 6th avenue northeast south of Mercy Hospital, 12th avenue southeast, Winter Show Road, 8th avenue southwest, Main street and Central avenue.

Schelkoph the city would like to remind everyone that during snow events there is no parking on any designated “Emergency Snow Routes” within the City.  Any vehicles parked on any Emergency Snow Route will be ticked and possibly towed.  The policy is implemented to help ensure the safe travel of all emergency vehicles during a snow event.  

Please direct any questions to the Public Works department at City Hall during working hours at 845-0380.  After hours call the Police Department at 845-3110.
