(NewsDakota.com) – A 55-year-old Bismarck man was sentenced to 45 months in prison Tuesday for forging checks in Stutsman County.

Southeast District Court Judge John Greenwood also ordered Daniel Howard Dinnetz to pay $680 in restitution after he pleaded guilty to forging checks belonging to someone else in November, 2011.

Dinnetz has numerous previous convictions for forgery or counterfeiting in North Dakota. His 45-month sentence will run concurrently with a four-year prison sentence he is serving for a forgery conviction in Burleigh County District Court.
