Goldade, 53, of rural Jamestown, ND, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012 as a result of a farming accident.

Randall H. Goldade was born July 30, 1958, in Harvey, ND, the son of Frank and Eva (Kraft) Goldade.  He moved with his family when he was 9 months old to rural Eldridge, ND, and attended school in Eldridge.  Randy graduated from Jamestown High School in 1976.  He married Shelly Knoblich in 1979 and to that union a son, Tyler Randall, was born.  Randy was self-employed as a flooring installer for the rest of his career.  He owned and operated Quality Carpet in Jamestown for a number of years.  Randy later married Carol McMillan in 1987 and they had two daughters, Amanda Renee and Megan Joy, were born. 

He took over the family farm near Eldridge and raised Registered Red Angus.  Randy loved living in the country and working outdoors on projects.  He was a hard-working, loving husband, father, grandpa, son, brother, uncle, and friend.  Randy was very active in the Buffalo City Gun Club and enjoyed hunting with his family, friends, and German Shorthairs.  Playing pinochle, riding horse, and bowling was also a favorite past time of Randy’s.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Carol; son, Tyler; daughters, Amanda and Megan; granddaughter, Lilly; mother, Eva; brothers, Robert (Terri) of Texas and Donald (Judy) of Wisconsin.

Randy was preceded in death by his father, Frank and brother, Ronald.

In honor of Randy’s wishes there will be no prayer service.

Eucharist of Christian Burial –
10:00 a.m., Monday, March 26,
2012 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown.

Interment –Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.

In lieu of flower – Memorials may be sent to St. Jude’s Children Hospital or a charity of the donor’s choice.
