Dreher-Boggetto, age 57, of Valley City, ND, died Friday, April 20, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Valley City.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 23rd at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Valley City with Monsignor Dennis Skonseng celebrant. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Lerud Schuldt Funeral Home and one hour before the service at the church on Monday afternoon. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday evening at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery near Valley City.

Rosemary Dreher, the daughter of Glenn and Elizabeth “Bette” (Wilhelmi) Dreher, was born December 7, 1954 in New Rockford, North Dakota. Rosemary grew up and attended school in the Grace City, ND area and graduated from Grace City High School in 1973. After her graduation, Rosemary worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Washington, DC. While working for the FBI, she was instrumental in forming a department newsletter for all of the agents and employees. In 1978, she moved to Grand Forks, ND where she attended the University of North Dakota where she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Dietetics in 1982. While attending UND, she met her future husband, Jon Boggetto in November, 1978. After her graduation from college, she moved to Carrington, ND where she lived and worked. In 1984, Rosemary moved to Valley City, ND. While in Valley City, she married John Boggetto on June 12, 1999. Rosemary helped form and was the coordinator of the Valley City Food Coop for many years. She loved to garden and also helped with the Valley City Farmers Market.

Rosemary is survived by her husband, Jon, Valley City, ND; three sisters, Charlene (Paul) Donohue and Karen (Richard) Monson, all Valley City, ND and Marla (Robert) Nelsen, Egeland, ND; one niece, Kara (Josh) Frey and one nephew Darin Nelson, all Grand Forks, ND.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents.
