CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Work on 9th Avenue Northwest paving improvement project in Valley City from Main Street to 4th Street NW continues.  The contractor will work on underground utilities in the intersection of 2nd Street Northwest.

Project Manager Chad Pedersen says the intersection of 2nd street Northwest will be closed while the intersection of 3rd street NW will be re-opened today.

Pedersen says the drier weather has helped work move along at a good pace.

Weekly planning meetings are being held with the contractor, engineer and the City to provide updates on the progress of the project.
