CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Valley City State University will soon be searching for someone to fill a new position. VCSU President Dr. Steven Shirley said due to growth in the athletic department a “Sports Information Director” will be a benefit to the university.

Shirley said the university will also fill the Director of Marketing and Communication position now open after Doug Anderson accepted a similar position in Minnesota.  

During his state of the university address Shirley said it’s an exciting time for VCSU with new academic programs, the completion of the Rhoades Science Center expansion project and other campus improvements.
