N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A half-day seminar is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, May 14th for the public to become more informed and involved with their diabetes care.
Several topics will be discussed during the seminar. “How to Beat Burnout” will be presented by Brooke Fredrickson LRD, RD and Jessica Linderman, RN. Both are Diabetes Educators for the Carrington Health Center. “What’s New In Diabetes” will be represented by Eric Johnson, MD. Eric is a member of the Dakota Diabetes Coalition and is Assistant Professor at UND. “Meters, Meds and More!” will be presented by either Shane Wendel or Kristen Cabler, both PharmD.
The seminar is scheduled to begin with registration at 8:30 AM and presentations will go from 9:00 AM to Noon at the Carrington City Library. Lunch will be provided. For more information or to pre-register, contact Jennifer Whitman at 701-652-7250.
