N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department has released their run report for the week of June 5th through the 12th.

According to Fire Chief Jim Ruether, the department has responded to a total of 133 calls so far this year. Last year, the Department responded to 259 calls. Below is a full list of dates, times and descriptions of the calls that were responded to.

June 6th, 7:29AM, ready squad responded to 300 2nd Ave NE, Sanford Clinic, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-power outage. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 20 minutes.

June 7, 11:11PM, ready squad responded to 2501 Circle Drive, NDSH-New Horizon Building, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-burnt toast. Fire alarm was rest. Time out 35 minutes.

June 7th, 1:53PM, fire department water rescue squad was dispatched for a possible person/s in the water at the Jamestown Reservoir. Rescue units were canceled in route. Cause-disabled watercraft. No injuries reported. Time out 20 minutes.

June 7th, 7:11PM, fire department responded to 1831 Hwy 281 North, to a report of heavy black smoke. Firefighters extinguished the fire and investigated. Cause-unattended fire pit. No injuries reported. Time out 25 minutes.

June 10th, 10:46AM, ready squad responded to 12th Ave NE 1300 Block to investigate possible code violation. Firefighters investigated and advised manager of the violation. Cause-discarded building materials. Time out 35 minutes.

June 11th, 11:13AM, ready squad responded to 506 8th St SW, to investigate a possible code violation. Firefighters investigated and advised owner of the violation. Cause-illegal burning. Time out 20 minutes.
