(NewsDakota.com) The Oakes High School boys basketball and wrestling teams picked up wins at home on Tuesday night.
The boys basketball team won their third game in a row, and improved to 5-4 on the season with a 74-52 victory over North Sargent. The Tornadoes outscored the Bobcats 47-33 in the second half, and were lead by Ethan Zetocha’s 24 points. Brody Bartholomew added 13 and made two of the three pointers he attempted.
Oakes now stands at 5-4 overall, and will next face Sargent Central on Friday January 23.
The grapplers of Oakes held off Central Cass for a 33-30 win Tuesday night’s duel.
