N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Long-running electronics company RadioShack recently filed for bankruptcy and will see 1,784 stores nationwide close by March 31st.

Among those stores in North Dakota is Jamestown’s in the Buffalo Mall. The other stores in the state include locations in the Dakota Square Mall in Minot and the Kirkwood Mall in Bismarck. Despite filing for bankruptcy, certain stores around the U.S. will continue to operate.

RadioShack was first founded in 1921 and sold electronics, games, consoles and tools.
