N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Central Valley Health has added a healthy twist to the Jamestown Tourism Talking Trails in the community.

The project is called “Get Fit & Explore” and invites community members and tourists to get active in the community. Unit Administrator Robin Iszler stated that a $1,560 grant allowed them to partner with Jamestown Tourism and create signage for their healthy trails.

Shannon Kaiser with Central Valley Health helped in mapping the currently 1 1/2 mile walking route in Jamestown.

Tami Dillman also worked on the project, coordinating their efforts with the City of Jamestown and Jamestown Tourism.

Iszler also pointed out that there were plans for expansion of the healthy trails and they will continue applying for grants to do them.
