CITY (NewsDakota.com)- Maple Valley Boys’ Basketball returns a solid core from last year’s team that went 10-11. Head coach Jay Kocka, now in his 12th season, will turn to Dustin Kasowski, AJ Punton, Sean Beilke and Hunter Smith to lead with his team He also looks for contributions from several players ready to move into bigger roles

 

The Raiders will play again in a tough Region 1 that features 3 teams ranked in the top 25 of Class B. Kocka expects his team to compete with the other 12 programs in the region

Maple Valley opens play Saturday (game rescheduled from Friday) on the road against Finley-Sharon/Hope Page. The Raiders first home game is Monday against Griggs County Central.
