N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Dakota Anglers held their 37th Annual Little Britches tournament on Saturday, June 3rd and had nearly 90 teams participate.

According to Kay Herrick, the fishing tournament was held during North Dakota’s Free Fishing weekend.

“Other than a brisk breeze, it was almost a perfect day,” Herrick reported. “[We had] 84 teams consisting of one child and one adult register for the tournament.”

Plaques were later awarded to winners in each age group as well as a traveling plaque to the highest Dakota Angler Member. Jaeger & Kerri Roehmmich won the largest rough fish plaque.

Winners for each age group and traveling plaque are:

0-6     Karter Lang & Travis Ganser
7-10   Haley & Steve Attleson
11-13  Carson Ova & Justin Backer
14-16  Mason & Brett McIlonie

The Anglers are also paying the camp fee for four youngsters to attend the Devils Lake Fish Camp from August 6th through August 11th. They are Ryley Smith, Dominik Vierstraete, Ian Sjostrom, and Gabe Sagvold.
