N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown City Fire Department responded to a car on fire at the Jamestown Regional Airport early Monday morning.

Crews report that just before 6 AM, a car was reportedly on fire in the airport’s parking lot. Officials say the 2004 Buick LeSabre was just parked by its driver when the engine suddenly caught fire, totaling the vehicle.

The specific cause of the fire is unknown and no injuries were reported. Four units and 27 fire fighters were on the scene for around 40 minutes.
