CARRINGTON, N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  All four of the Cardinals Seniors scored in double figures and Carrington picked up their fifth win in District V by defeating the Oakes Tornadoes 91-47.  Carrington is now 14-2 overall, Oakes drops to 2-4 in D5 and 8-7 overall.

The Tornadoes had an early lead in the first quarter, but Senior Garrett Bickett scored 10 points including a three-ball to help the Cardinals to a 16-10 lead at the end of the first quarter and they would never look back.  Bickett is averaging 20 points and two 3-pointers per game, he ended with 23 points and two 3-pointers.  Carrington had three players with 10 each, Seniors Jayden Shipman, Kolton Vetter and Zach Johnson.  For Oakes, they were led by Senior Tyler Voightman with 17, he was the player of the game as well for the Tornadoes.  Freshman Garret Meehl added nine.
