JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Chamber of Commerce has awarded their monthly customer service award to Don Schwher with James River Public Transit.

The transit is one of the services that the James River Senior Center provides to the community. The chamber states that Ambassadors and Young Professionals were present for the award.

Don’s letter of nomination stated:

“Some weeks ago, I was coming out of church with my husband, and his legs would not work at all. I was really struggling to keep him from falling and getting him into the car. Don hopped out of the transit and helped me get him to the car. Thanks to people like him, my life was made a little easier for a few minutes. He had a ride waiting on the bus, and luckily, she was very patient also. Thanks Don.”

The chamber honors individuals who demonstrate a consistent commitment to delivering products or services that satisfy customers by exceeding their requirements or expectations. Customer Service Award nomination forms are available at the Chamber office and on their website at www.jamestownchamber.com or call 701-252-4830.
