Our mother went to be with the Lord on March 15th 2018.Delores V Malinski was born October 18, 1932 to Joseph and Victoria Malinski in Sykeston, ND. She lived on the family farm and helped work on the farm for her mother & family until she graduated in 1950. During her high school years, she also worked at the Star Theater, Grand Theater & State Theater to help support her mother and family. After graduation she moved with her brother Ed to Florida in 1951, and joined the Navy shortly thereafter.

After serving in the Navy, she moved back to Jamestown, ND where she met and married Chris Graff on July 15, 1955. Together Chris & Delores (Dodee) purchased Graff’s Standard Service Station from Chris’s father, Chris Graff Sr. and Chris & Delores continued the family business as the second generation running the business together for 37 years until they both retired in 1992.

Delores was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was very active in the church community often helping and volunteering at different events. Delores was also a member of the bowling league in Jamestown where she bowled at Majestic Lanes for many years. Delores was active in the Veterans community and served a term as the Commander of the American Legion. Delores was very patriotic and honored to have served her country.
Delores is survived by her son, Mark Graff (Beth) of Cary, NC, grandsons Collin & Austin, great-granddaughters Evelynn & Savannah; daughter Angella Graff of Brandon, FL, granddaughter Kali Weixel, great-granddaughter Aniyah St Louis; son Jon Graff (Danielle) of Maple Grove, MN and grandsons Paul, Dalton & Brody. She is also survived by her brother, Raymond Malinski, 3 sisters, Helen Johnson of Billings, MT; Judy (Jake) Braunburger and Esther Strausburg of Jamestown, ND.
Delores is preceded in death by her husband Chris, her parents Joseph and Victoria Malinski, 4 brothers Edward, Adam, Chester and infant Raymond, 2 sisters, May and adolescent Helen.

Burial – 1:00 PM Monday June 4, 2018 @ the ND Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND

Memorial Services – 1:00 PM Tuesday June 5, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church in Jamestown, ND with Pastor Michelle Brennan
