WAHPETON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Post 25 started the day at 2-0, but lose two games in a row on Saturday afternoon and end their season at 32-10 overall.

Starting pitcher Andrew Linn worked six and two-thirds innings, six strikeouts, three walks, no runs and allowed just three hits. Kyle Leapaldt took the loss, working seven innings. At the plate for Post 25, Jayden Shipmen, Payton Smith and Drew Page each had a hit. For Fargo, Zach Sandy had two singles, Drew Sandy was 2-for-4 with an RBI double, Zach Kluvers had two singles as well.

Waupun, Wisconsin 3  Carrington 1

Brayden Sanders worked six and two-thirds innings for the win, with one run, three hits, nine strikeouts and three walks and one hit batter.  Lucas Geiszler took the loss, working all seven innings. Geiszler, Smith and Seth Nelson each had one hit. Carrington beat Waupun on the opening day of the tourney, but fall short on Saturday and they end their 2018 season.

Win or lose, the Bombers are in the championship game on Sunday.
