BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The first full weekend of 2019 brings the end to several hunting opportunities in North Dakota.

North Dakota Game & Fish Department Wildlife Biologist Doug Leier says there is still ample time to enjoy several of the seasons before they end Sunday.

Leier also says warm temperatures following the recent freeze has helped solidify ice across the state, making the weekend a great time to ice fish.

Leier says some of the new bills could be overwhelming, but the Game & Fish Department will continue to monitor bills on their website if it concerns the outdoors.
