BISMARCK, N.D. (PP Radio) Valley City is asking the North Dakota Legislature to approve $10.9 million for the next phase of it’s flood control project.

City Administrator David Schelkoph testified before the North Dakota Senate Appropriations Committee.

Schelkoph told the committee that the city is ready to get the flood control project underway by 2020.

The State Water Commission budget took up much of the committee’s day on January 10th at the State Capitol. No action was taken.
