SIBLEY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 36th Annual Barnes County Wildlife Fishing Derby was held Saturday, January 12 in Sibley. During the tournament 50 Perch, 5 Northern, 2 Walleye and 2 small mouth Bass were caught.

Several prizes and prize month was awarded during the three hour fishing derby on January 12.

2nd Place 3.63 Pounds…Mitch Weed, Minnewauken wins ice house
3rd Place 2.95 Pounds…Mac Cimbura, Montpelier wins $100

Walleye – 1st Place 2.45 Pounds…Brent Baumann, VC wins $300
2nd Place 1.02 Pounds…Jackson Novacek, West Fargo win a Vexilar
