VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City High School Snow Week is February 4 thru 9.
The week kicks off on Monday, Feb. 4th with the Community Pep Fest & Coronation Ceremony. The Pep Fest will be held at 6:30pm in the Hi-Liner Activity Center. This free community event will consist of the VCHS pep band, cheerleaders, skit, JV dance team, an introduction of all students participating in Hi-Liner winter sports and organizations. We will have a ceremony to crown the 2019 Snow Week King and Queen.
Following coronation around 7:45pm, the public is encouraged to stay at the HAC to take in the annual Junior vs. Senior Boys Powder Buff Volleyball game. The winner takes on a team consisting of VCHS staff / VC Police. This is a fundraiser for the VCHS Student Council. Tickets are $5.
In-school activities for VCHS students will include dress-up theme days, and a dance on Saturday night. Theme days this year will be Monday- Denim Day, Tuesday –Dress Like Your DAD Day, Wednesday –Groutfit Day, Thursday –Inside-Out Day, and the traditional Blue-and-White Hi-Liner Day on Friday.
