Lorraine Thompson,  a celebration of Life.
Lorraine walked into our heavenly father’s arms Saturday, January 26,, 2019.
Please come and celebrate her life with us at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2PM Thursday February 7th   in Valley City, ND.  Lorraine is now gathered together with her husband Charles “Tuna” Thompson.   She is survived by son, Michael Thompson his wife Catherine and two grandchildren, Patrick and Laura as well as son, Leslie Thompson and brother Art Mariner, and his wife Dorothy from Bismarck, ND.
She was a woman of great love. Michael remembers her voice cheering for everyone at sporting events. She was called mom by many.  Lorraine had a gift of remembering birthdays and anniversaries. You could always count on a card with a newspaper clipping of your loved ones or current events.
Lorraine loved the little city in the Valley.  She was known for her love of cats, the Red Hat Society, Home makers, Bingo, pinochle, the coffee girls and Area Eagle’s club.  She loved to travel and managed to visit every state except Hawaii.  Her all-time favorite was Johnny Cash.  These are the many things close to her heart.
Words to remember by the Apostle Paul.  Romans 8:38-39 – For I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Messiah Jesus our Lord.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Oliver-Nathan Funeral Chapel.  An online guestbook is available at www.oliver-nathanchapel.com
