JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Kameron Selvig’s huge second half helped Jamestown pull away en route to a 79-53 win over Turtle Mountain and a spot in Bismarck next week during the West Region Tournament.
Courtney Peterson had 12 of her 14 points in the first half and the Jays took 13-point lead into the break. It the second half, it was Selvig’s turn. She had 17 of her 23 after halftime.
Jamestown had three other players in double-figures; Grace Hegerle (12), Jessa Anderson (12), and Ella Falk (10). Hegerle also had 12 rebounds.
They Jays will play Legacy at 7:15pm on Thursday night at the Bismarck Event Center in the opening round of the West Region.
