VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Dubbed as the annual “Party in the Dirt”, The North Dakota Winter Show Concert has continually brought out the stars to Valley City to put on the concert of a lifetime.
This year, country stars Confederate Railroad will be headlining the show. Opening for them will be the up-and-coming band Chancey Williams and The Younger Brothers Band and regional favorite Redline.
With their music dubbed as country rock/ southern rock, Confederate Railroad was founded in 1987 by lead singer and rhythm guitarist Danny Shirley. The band has since released six studio albums, charted more than 20 singles, and have received numerous awards and accolades.
Shirley took some time and talked with JD on Big Dog 95.5 FM about the band and what they’ll bring to the Winter Show on March 8th.

Opening for Confederate Railroad will be Chancey Williams and the Younger Brothers Band. Former saddle bronc rider and now singer-songwriter Chancey Williams brings some fresh, new music to the country scene. With singles like “Worth the Whiskey” and “Silhouette”, Williams and the Younger Brothers Band will be sure to entertain.
