BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The ND Senate passed a bonding bill that includes funding to build a new Communication and Fine Arts building on the VCSU campus.
President Alan LaFave said it’s not a done deal yet being the bill has to be approved by the ND House. He talked about what the building will hold once it’s completed.
LaFave said if approved by the legislature, the new building will be located just west of the VCSU Student Center. He said the existing properties located their now would be bought out and razed to build the new structure.
The bonding bill that includes the VCSU building project will now go through the ND House for a vote in the second half of the legislative session. If approved by both chambers it will still require the Governor’s signature.
