JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Congratulations to the speech team who traveled to Carrington over the weekend to compete against 274 student entries.
There were 17 schools competing, and Jamestown won the meet. Jamestown had 8 events qualify for the state speech meet which will be held right here in Jamestown on April 13th.
The qualifiers are:Alivia Hoke in Humorous, Entertain, and Storytelling; Samara McDermid and Joseph Lauinger in their Serious Duo; Maddie Reinarts in Radio Broadcasting; Jessica Schmitz in Extemp Speaking, Anja McDermid in Impromptu Speaking; and Madison Motschenbacher in Speech to Inform.
