JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – For more than 28 Years, Tom & Deb Stroh have owned and operated Polar King.

Now, they will close their doors after selling the property. Stroh made the announcement on her personal Facebook page and the Polar King Facebook page.

“Over the years Tom and I have missed out on so many weddings, birthdays, funerals, and family get together,” Stroh explains. “We haven’t gone on a vacation in 20 years. We are looking so forward to enjoying our Children, Grandchildren and life.”

Stroh says on March 24th, it will be one month short of 35 years that she has spent at the business, which was formally a Tastee Freeze before becoming the first Polar King location.
Stroh thanked her current and former employees as well as the many customers who kept the business running.

The building and property were sold with the intention of the building to house a non-restaurant business.

Tom & Deb accept the Business of the Month award from the Young Professionals of Jamestown in 2016.
