JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Friends of the James River Valley Library System (FJRVLS) will be presenting a class on Gardening in Small Spaces March 20th.
The course will be taught by Alicia Harstad, Stutsman County Extension Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent. Harstad will cover gardening in small spaces with containers and raised bed gardening.
“Vegetable gardening in small spaces is an economical way to have fresh produce,” the event states. “Flower gardens in small containers and other small spaces are a great way to add beauty to any home.
The seed library also opens up the same day as part of the Jamestown Community Gardens and James River Valley Library System. The seeds are housed in the old card catalog located at the Stutsman County branch of the James River Valley Library. Seeds are available whenever the library is open and as long as our stock lasts.
The course will run Wednesday, March 20th from 6 PM to 7 PM.
