JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Two Rivers Activity Center isn’t done expanding, setting their sights on outdoor water designs sometime in 2019.
In 2018, a large donation from longtime Jamestown resident Shirley Rolfs Meidinger helped expedite the Phase II outdoor water park. Facilities Manager Amy Walters says they’re looking to approve a vendor at the next Parks & Recreation Board meeting.

Walters says if that’s approved on Monday, March 11th, the next steps will be clear.

She says they’ll look at everything that could be included in the project. Once the meeting is set, an announcement will be made for the public’s input.
Walter’s has stated that the community has been constantly asking for outdoor water when the outdoor pool was closed in Jamestown. Estimates for the Phase II outdoor water project are around $2 million.
