JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Dairy Queens nationwide will be hosting free cone day on March 20th, the first official day of spring.

The day has been held annually for the past four years. Jamestown Dairy Queen owner Tricia Seckerson’s daughter Clara told NewsDakota more about the day.

Free cones will be distributed and free will donations will be accepted. In 2018, Jamestown Dairy Queen gave out 1,189 cones and raised $270. All of that money goes on to the Children’s Miracle Network.

Dairy Queen’s partnership with Children’s Miracle Network has raised more than $145 million for local children’s hospitals in 35 years.
