JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Hundreds were in Jamestown and feeling the St. Patrick’s Day spirit on March 23rd for the 41st annual Running O’ The Green.

The event has raised thousands of dollars for local cancer patients and Elks Camp Grassick. Run founder Larry Knoblich says in 2018, they raised $50,000 with $10,000 going to cancer patients and $40,000 going to the camp. In it’s 40 year history, the Running O’ The Green has raised more than $450,000 and continues to be one of the area’s largest fundraising events and traditions.

The event has previously brought in upwards of 2,000 participants in past events.
