JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Safe Shelter Jamestown has relied on donations and grants to continue funding their operation. Since opening Mary’s Place, that need has continued to grow.

Safe Shelter Executive Director Lynne Tally says they were established nearly 40 years ago to meet the needs of those who face domestic abuse and violence in the area.

The 2nd Annual 5K Rabbit Run & 3K Bunny Hop will support Mary’s Place at Safe Shelter on April 20th. The event is for families and all ages in Jamestown.

Tally says thanks to numerous sponsors, they’re able to hold the event. All proceeds will benefit Mary’s Place.

Registration for the run is $25 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Registration for adults includes an event T-shirt. Click here to register or text MPRUN19 to 41444.
