JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A 5K and 3K were held Saturday, April 20th in Jamestown to raise money for Mary’s Place.

Safe Shelter has operated as a non-profit in Jamestown for nearly 40 years, helping those who face domestic abuse and violence. Mary’s Place was opened in 2018 and provides temporary housing for those who live in violent situations.

The annual run raises proceeds that benefit Mary’s Place.

“We had around 130 participate last year,” Executive Director Lynne Tally stated. “We hope to top that this year.”
