VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Public School District will hold their annual school board election on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 with the polling place in the school administration building conference room. Polls will be open from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

There are two positions up for election, both at large within the district. The two incumbents, Joyce Braunagel and Val Moritz have chosen not to file for re-election.

Business manager Thomas Vanorny said three people have filed and their name will be placed on the ballot for the election. The three are Darin Anderson, Josh Lagein and Jamie Sylling. The top two with the most votes will take their seats on the school board at the annual meeting in July.

Interested patrons wishing to vote by absentee ballot may do so by contacting Thomas Vanorny, Business Manager at the Valley City Public Schools during regular business hours Monday through Friday.
