VALLEY CITY, N.D. (VCSUVikings.com)- Valley City State senior relief pitcher Brady Engebretson has been named the North Star Athletic Association Pitcher of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.

Brady Engebretson – Valley City State (N.D.) – 6’0″ – Senior – Pitcher – Velva, N.D. – Engebretson earned two wins out of the bullpen during an 8-game week for Valley City State (N.D.).  He struck out seven of the ten batters he faced in VCSU’s 1-0 victory at Viterbo (Wis.), tossing 2 2/3 scoreless innings. Just two days later, he bounced back to pitch 2 1/3 innings in 10-6 victory over Mayville State (N.D.) and earned another win out of the bullpen.  For the week, Engebretson allowed just two hits and one run over six innings in relief and recorded a total of nine strikeouts.
