VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – North Dakota Congressman Kelly Armstrong told a group of citizens who attended a Town Hall Meeting in Valley City that he doesn’t support the National Voting Rights Act. He believes it will hinder voting in North Dakota instead of encourage voting.

Armstrong addressed that issue and several others during the Town Hall meeting on Wednesday, April 24th in Valley City at the Pizza Corner Restaurant.

Armstrong made several stops at other cities in North Dakota to hold Town Hall Meetings to gather the concerns of citizens across the state.

During the meeting, Barnes County farmer Marcy Svenningsen stated that there is a lot of hurt in farm country right now as commodity prices continue to remain low in nearly every category as farmers try to deal with high input costs heading into the spring planting season.
