VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Last weekend, three young ladies from Valley City had to learn two routines and perform them the next day, with intent on being named to the North Dakota State University Dance team. For London Dietrich, Monisha Terry and Faith Peterson, mission accomplished.

All three will be part of the NDSU Dance team in 2019-2020.

Monisha Terry says they did not have long to learn the routines they had to audition with.

 

Being state champs in both routines as Hi-Lites, it was rather advantages for the them. But Terry says those are the only two routines they do in college, unlike high school where there is several.

Faith Peterson explains how they found out they made the team.

 

 

Despite on a few competitions during the year, London Dietrich says it is a very busy schedule.

 

 

All three have been dancing for years and Terry says, one of he best memories she has about being a Hi-Lite is watching the program grow over the years.

 

 

The Bison Dance team has seen some success over the years. They are a 3-time UDA Division 1 National Champions in Pom. Last year, they were 5th in the Nation in Pom and 7th in Hip-Hop.
