JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown baseball learned their fate this afternoon for the NAIA Baseball Opening Round, which takes place at nine sites across the county, and they are headed to Santa Barbara, California. The five-team tournament will be hosted by Westmont College.

The Jimmies will be the No. 5-seed and play the first game of the tournament on Monday against Arizona Christian at 9am pt/11am ct.

The other teams joining in on the fun will be; No. 1-seed Oklahoma Science & Arts, No. 2-seed Westmont and No. 3-seed Antelope Valley.

Jamestown lost a 8-6 decision to Arizona Christian during their spring break trip in Tucson. They also played Antelope Valley and won that meeting, 5-3.

Day 1 Schedule (Central Time):

11am: Jimmes vs. Arizona Christian

2:30pm: Westmont vs. Antelope Valley

6pm: Winner Game 1 vs. Oklahoma Science & Arts
