JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Rebecca Undem has talked to audiences nationwide, spreading her message of empowering women in small town communities.

She’ll bring that message to Jamestown tonight as she talks about women finding their courage and confidence to lead change that they want to see in their community.

Undem says she shares her personal experience with this. She lives in Oakes, a community of around 1,800 people.

While Jamestown may not be considered small-town, she says there are still some small town tendencies prevalent in the area.

Undem will be speaking tonight at 5:30 PM at the Hansen Art’s Park. Tickets are $35 in advance and $50 at the door. All proceeds will go to the local Jamestown Safe Shelter & Mary’s Place. Tickets include food and a copy of Undem’s book.

The event was organized by True North Photography. Undem says anyone can request her to speak in their town by visiting rebeccaundem.com.
