JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – SkillsUSA Jamestown are preparing for their trip to nationals in Louisville, KY later this month.

To make the trip, they’re raising money to alleviate the expenses. MacKenzie Johnson is a Jamestown High School student in the program.

SkillsUSA features a variety of partnerships to help students succeed. Johnson says technical jobs from carpentry to health are included. She says her team will be tested on that during nationals June 24-28.

Johnson says they’ll be holding a fundraiser on Friday, June 14th called “Got Skills?” will feature zumba & pound at the Two Rivers Activity Center from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
